EV Charging Station

Recognizing the number of Electric Vehicles on the road, the Kamloops Airport chose to install Electric Vehicle charging stations with level 2 chargers in their public lot. This was an innovative addition that added value for their passengers with Electric Vehicles.

Exceed Electrical Engineering was pleased to be a part of this project including providing detailed design of electrical distribution, locations, conductor sizing, and specifications for the installation of EV charging stations.

Controls Integration of Pumice Dryer

An essential component of the LaFarge Holcim Kamloops Cement Plant is the pumice burner and dust collector system. The pumice dryer was moved to the existing burner through an intake conveyor, which expels dust to the dust collector, and output to the site’s main conveyor system.

Exceed implemented a new program to bring the power and controls system online ensuring all systems including the conveyors, gates, dust collectors, and other plant processes were integrated. A new SCADA screen to monitor and control the system remotely was added for easy and seamless access.
